i agree- Genevieve was a better read-- altho i dont like the guy him use to narrate his books. It did kind a wrap up weird, but the characters dem was a little more substantial.

One thing i think him do good is the sound of a argument, in both a dem- the language and rhythm seem very real.

But the ting wid dem flipping ppl is dat dem nuh gi yu no credit if yu return book and 1or 2 of the tape or CD missing. Well mi modda move weh from Brooklyn an is now teefing books outta di Jersey library system so it criss. And mi nuh tink seh dem soso safissticated weh dem can put ei pon fi yuh credit.

Maybe I going pick up dis "Genevive" book one day. But not inna di mood fi dem sintin right ya now.

With E.J.D. I think the first few books were the best, and they deteriorated with each next one. Especially once fi him "lebanese; obsession start.

Well, I have finished the book. How did a New York Times Best selling author end up writing such crap? The story stunk! Here's a 34 y.o. woman who behaves more like a 16 y.o. a liar and a cheater coupled with the other liars and cheaters in the story. None of the characters are likable and the storyline is just over the top...and it isn't too much the graphic sex scenes and the profane language... maybe I need to go live on Crenshaw Blvd in L.A. to really see how life is there.

The Jamaicans in the story... well, it is a story. As I said from earlier on, what caught up attention in the story are the motorcycles. The book is readable, once as you get started you'll be wanting to see what happens next, even though you may sum up the storyline, scene by scene from beginning to end.

I read one of his books a few years back....at least i think it was him...and the sex scenes were just a little bit more than i wanted to handle.....never bought another one of his books.
