I loved that book as a child....

So in the last few months it has been mentioned in an advert on Perkins on Line for eggs...

I showed it to my 9 year old and he has started to read it....He finished one or two chapters and likes it....So we will see....

Any one else given it to their children.. It is over 65 years old...

Next book to try is Sixty Five....

My son seems to like it.. He reads when I remind him and when he is sent to bed he grabs a book to avoid going to sleep....But I think if he likes it he will start a tradition and give it to his children if and when they come along....

V S Reid is the author, dont...tekking dat from memory...like i say, wen i see the bk wen i am looking thru my bks, i always stop and read dem....wish people would read those authors as opposed to the latter day ones dat seem to focus on the rentadread crowd stories etc...
