Now I was beginning to wonder the same thing after one of my DJ friends had me listen to his mix cd. I was not pleased with it but I know it is not entirely his fault because all the tunes nowadays are bout gun an bad man dis an dat and bowing an all a dem tings.

Now mi know dose tings were around from Whoppy kill Phillo but mi know dere was always plenty a tunes to dance to...hence the term dancehall. Now dem tune is like man just tan up stiff an put up dem gun finga in di air...no rhythm for people like me who love dancehall for the dancing. All a dis tension between di artiste dem is so kindergarten. I mean...why you a sa big man a go fling word pon next man jus because smaddy seh him seh dis. An den fi see two big ole eediat a fight ova wan piece a ooman is so classless. Is jus a whole bunch a seh seh backed by gunman threats an dem tings dere. Foolishness.

Tank gawd fi decent people like Beres weh mi can still rock to widout di war war business.

nuttin nuh wrong wid a likkle lyrical bakkle. what I hate is the gyal tracing but lyrical bakkle is nice.

We also have to be willing to accept change. Just as how I love old school music....people who grew up around those music should appreciate new school music. most of us dont used wood stove and go to river fi wata. we have gas stove and pipe inna kitchen. Times change and so will the music. its only natural.
