Rumors is good but there is only one night nurse, I still remember my mother getting mad when I used to sing it when mi a likkle pickney dem especially the part bout satisfy my thirst, how the heck mi did fi know seh Issacs was about to slay something in the song, [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif[/img]..the cool ruler with the big yt towel and the hat, mi glad the coke never mash him up like Dennis Brown.

On my very first trip to JA I saw Gregory Isaacs play at Alfreds...

I fell in love with his music that night. The first reggae album I bought after Bob was "One Man Against the World" The best of Gregory Isaacs

I know what you mean Arjen sometimes like the life slowly a leff him, I saw him couple years back and never realized how old he was, I still remember the Gregory from when I was in primary school a trim, well dressed man always sharp and stepping on stage with the bad man walk. I saw him at the World Cup cricket opening show he looked like he was happy to be there. Respect him still our living Jamaican legend. Eddy Fitzroy was another person from my youth who I enjoyed listening too.

shame to say i have yet to see him or any of these classic artists perform. They dont do shows pon a regular and when they do i cant go.

Gregory is very temperamental, sensitive and moody. If he is not comfortable he`ll cut his stint on stage short and exit.
True Kin 20, he did look okay at CWC openning ceremony. He even managed to snicker a smile.

I've been listening to "Cool Down the Pace" a lot lately. He was great when I saw him in concert about 2 years back.

I've seen the "cool ruler" many times. And it pains me to say that the last couple of times...his performance...if he showed up was a former shadow of what he used to be like. I love all his music so I would have a hard time to pick a favorite. Sometimes I wish I could turn back the time...sigh...
