Re: Prince Jammy Then....King Jammy Now
I'm glad that they have full credits for this time. Sometimes you lose track of some of the people creating the great music you love. For example, apparently Chinna and Horsemouth play on a lot of cuts and we don't realize it. The bass players really don't get the credit they deserve most of the time.

Re: Prince Jammy Then....King Jammy Now
Okay listen to these Prince Jammy tracks:
BASS: Robbie
DRUMS: Sly
GUITAR: Bo Peep, Dougie
ALTO SAX: Deadly Headley
TRUMPET: Bobby Ellis
PIANO: Gladdy Anderson
ORGAN: Ansel Collins, Winston Wright
PERCUSSION: Sticky, Scully
PRODUCED BY: Prince Jammy
Ansel Collins is always great on organ. The only song I knew from him was Lice inna Dread. (Wha'aapen to your air now iya? http://s.reggaefever.ch/samples/14/01/78/A.mp3 )I notice he has a brother. Here they are playing one of my favourite riddims.
Take that back....I didn't realize they did my favourite Stalag Version:
Alternate version of the classic track by Dave & Ansell Collins
Produced by Winston Riley
Released by Angen 1975
Guess mi ave fe go look up Winston Riley now too.
Looks like Prince Jammy loved this riddim too:
