well, they are decorative. not sure if they are meant to give any deeper perspectives on african or black women. it's like pop music, i guess, just for sheer fun.

me too. she is beautiful, well dressed and seem that she lived a privileged life. I do not think this woman was any man's concubine and if she was, he took care of her. Her eyes are relaxed and her features are very demure.

agreed on the decorative part. They do quite well in home decor.

I have been wanting for a long time to do something with the jamaica flag but the colors are a bit harsh when trying to combine them with the overall room. cho.

there is this jamaican artist that does poster art, he was featured on here a while ago. I love his work.

Agreed, love how she is dressed. Yes, I noticed right away the ring on her left hand. I would love to know who she was and what her life was like.
