My husband worked her show here and he said it was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen.
He wheeled her onto the stage, and he said she looked like an old woman, all hunched over. But when the curtain was raised she raised up too, and was tall and powerful and did her thing, the audience was completely entranced. When the curtain was lowered, she slumped back down in her chair, exhausted.
I would love to have gone - but last minute notice, and travel time in the middle of the week made it impossible.
