Tears streaming down my cheeks
still longing to see your face
and wondering why
we never got a chance
to say our last goodbyes.
You said you were coming
so I sat here in silence
waiting on my porch
from sunrise to sunset
and with every passing car
I didn't see your face
and yet wondering why
you never came by my place
I still had a ray of hope my heart
always a glitter in my eyes
when knowing you were going to stop by
You would shower me with your amazing love

I am hurting today, as I can remember
the reason why you never stopped by
The neighbors was talking and whispering
then telling me softley
you had met an untimely death...
Oh... I can remember all the days that I cried
today

at this very moment
I just can't seem to hold back the tears

and the glitter in my eyes are dew drops of tears
you left me broken hearted....

Have you ever lost someone special to an untimely death.....I did, and every now and then like today, I sheded a few tears having memories of all the wonderful times we spent together. I truly miss him and he put a poem in my heart and when he passed this life he took a piece of my heart with him...May God keep him in his loving care always and forever....Peace and Blessings
