The original "Fire Pon Rome" chanter, Portmore's own Anthony B, seems unstoppable this year as he is now poised to released his latest album. The indomitable cultural deejay, who has consistently been at the forefront of the music business for the past 15 years, with his signature hard-hitting, socially conscious lyrics that have made him a force to be reckoned with in the industry, has one of the hottest songs playing locally and abroad. The song, entitled Tease Her is on the upcoming album called Life Over Death. The album is currently in its final stage of negotiation with a major distribution label based in the U.S.
This highly energetic, masterfully lyrical Rastafarian stamped his name all over again at the recently concluded Red Stripe Reggae Sumfest where he literally tore the place apart on Dancehall Night.
Catherine Hall erupted the moment he took the stage and he had the place in a frenzy until the moment he came off and was called back for an encore.
He performed at Sumfest by taking a break from an ongoing tour of Europe which saw him performing to sold-out venues in Belgium, Milan, Italy, Budapest, Finland and Rome. Anthony B is scheduled to perform on a few major shows locally before continuing his tour, which concludes in September.
