Brandy Performed For 40 People in 90,000 Capacity Stadium

Brandy has experienced what may just be the lowest point ever in her career, this past weekend she was scheduled to perform at an event in South Africa in a stadium that has a 90,000 fan capacity but only 40 people turned out to see her show. Brandy was listed as the guest performer for Nelson Mandela Sports and Culture Day, which was held at the First National Bank stadium in Johannesburg, but it seems no one knew who the guest performer was.It was reported that the venue had a much larger crowd earlier in the day, but many of them had already left before Brandy’s performance started. Someone tweeted saying that she performed two songs, then sulked and walked off the stage. “I have no words for what I just witnessed,” tweeted South African musician Kabomo. “Brandy performed to an empty stadium. With the stadium lights on. She sulked after two songs and walked off.”Neither Brandy nor the concert promoters have made a statement about the event, most likely because the entire situation is so horribly dreadful that they would probably rather everyone just forget it even happened. Well probably Brandy isn’t that hot in South Africa… or the promoters didn’t do a good job..

It is the total package. Black entertainers l like Abbey Lincoln who were tremendously talented never broke through the way they should have because they would not compromise w.r.t. image.



Brandy's talent has not changed but since she started monkeying around with her image, it has hurt her career. That plus this that also basically boils down to image:
