"Life" keith Richards - I now know enogh about five string guitars to build my own. mr. me will get it next - he used to be a touring musician and has a few guitars and will appreciate all that shop talk about Stratocasters - he has a baby blue one - bridges and holding your guitar too close to the neck

I read parts associated with Jamaica...those parts are well worth reading....his observations were astute for a man who spent his life stoned....

For the first time in years i dont have a non fiction book ito read..

so i went on line and bought my self.... The road to Serfdom by Fedrick Hayek the counter point Keayse.. the book that inspired Thatcher and Friedman...It was also referenced in Commanding Heights by Yergin which i strongly reccommed if u want an analisis done in the 90's... that allows one to see thee world...

i was in barnes and nobles yesterday (waiting on the child to finish an exam). I spent about 2 hours in there catching up on magazines and browsing the fiction shelves, oh how i love that place

This one sounds interesting Gen. But I struggle with reading books that are about slavery that are too graphic. (not that i know if this one is...also the usual thing the price. If I purchased all the $10 books that caught my eye i would go broke pretty soon). Will check to see if library has it. Thanks

i go to Costco every Tuesday wen they put out new books….i am finding some new authors there….i am a history buff n of course love European history….heavy part of yaad education back in the day…..MIDNIGHT AT ST PETERSBURG ….Russian life is always fascinating n books dealing with life in the times of their greatest turmoils , are always worth the read

NATCHEZ BURNING by GREG ISLES….the good ting dese days is dat all u computers can be kindles…truth be told i don't even use my Kindle , kindle….if i come across it n can find the charger, i will…but with iPad, iPhones n any of ur laptops, desk tops being able to download n use the KINDLE app, i can read any book at the drop of a hat….plus u get to download the sample juss to see if it reads good..i can tell if i am into a book by the end of the first paragraph….true, i have stuck thru a few poor starts ongle to really find the book to be a gem but those r few n far between…..


invest in an Amazon credit card so dat u can charge n juss download to any of ur devices wid ease...…my problem is trying to memba which one is IPad 2 etc etc.. after i have downloaded

reading Tom Jones by Henry Fielding - a classic and a long one (was missing long books after finishing the Game of Thrones series).

then a bookstore near me was going out of business and bought this little gem:



a fascinating book that's actually written like a graphic novel, so it doesn't have a lot of text but has enough to give the reader a good glimpse in to the mind of a very unusual philosopher.

so i'm now reading Introducing Hegel, Introducing Foucault and Introducing Aristotle, all at the same time as Tom Jones
