Chef at Italian restaurant in Louisiana finds word 'GOD' after cutting into eggplant
Jermarcus Brady made the holiest of discoveries when he was slicing the vegetable at Gino’s Restaurant in Baton Rouge.
The word of the Lord will come ... in an eggplant?
A Louisiana chef was left stunned after he sliced open an eggplant to find a mystical message inside.
Jermarcus Brady was chopping up the vegetable at Gino's Restaurant in Baton Rouge on Monday when he made the divine discovery.
There, before his very eyes, a bizarre pattern simply read "G O D."
"I saw a miraculous image formed by the seeds," Brady told WAFB.
"I couldn't think of anything. I just had to tell somebody to come look at it," he added, revealing his faith has seen him through some tough times in recent years.
Restaurant co-owner Gino Marino said that, despite being in the business for almost half a century, he'd never seen anything like it.
"You could cut one million eggplants and you'd probably never see that again, it's that rare," Marino told WAFB.
"God is within us and he has different ways of showing it in our lives, and this is just one way of showing it," he added.
