why white people are called caucasian

i have been amazed by how common & accepted this word caucasian is by most americans as a racial description for the "white" race...yet i've seen its use on the census and recognize it as a major tool of dis-information by the beast....

I guess it's word use to separate the white from the Hispanic nation who claim to be white. I believe the word is served as divider for certain class of people.
