Who Really Wrote the Bible?

Moses was given the credit either because he commissioned the work initially, or the work (Torah) was done in his honor

Some Ras will tell you that the bible is still being written today...for and of this generation

We don't have one clue as to who wrote the stories in the Bible other than they were primitive men with primitive ideas and primitive thinking

So the arc thing is a re-write. I mean why put 2 mosquitos on the boat? For the bats? Leave the bats out too.

It's all a combo rewrite/recreation and just plain fiction for the most part. While there very likely was a man with some degrees of realistic 'takes' on things surrounding him and impacting on his and his neighbour's lives...the guy, while wonderfully intentioned and insightful sure as heck wasn't a living, walking, talking ball of perfect energy. Impossible. And the son of 'gawd'? If one has a sense of there actually being a central force which we all rotate around...then we're all children of that truth...even Jesus.

But, all this said and seen, that book of fables, myths, fairy-tales and song lyrics sure has made a piss-pot full of money for a whole heap of 'businesses'.

That anyone in their right mind would read and then accept any of THAT as the 'gospel' truth is beyond comprehension. We've come a long long way but we're still not much better than before. And what pray tell is that? Afraid and ignorant. Hypnotised and confused. Prey tell.

At least some of YOU are paying for the priviledge. I'm dazzled and entertained by all of it...and it's absolutely FREE...for me.

Bible/schmible. Jesus/weesus. IF there REALLY was a gawd...he [she, it] would have been fired a long, LONG time ago for doing such a weak-arsed job and for neglecting responsibilities which would have, if it had ever existed, come with the job description.

Walk good. That's all you can ever really do that'll EVER make your chances at a decent life better. It's the only 'commandment' necessary. Everything else is either a derrivitive or just plain piddle.

This my view on this whole bible thing; Abraham to Jacob these are man that supposedly communicate with a higher sources (God) , but they never have as much knowledge as Moses. Why is that?

The Egyptian is one the oldest civilized nation there is. They kept recorded history of pass events that takes place from the beginning. I believe Moses gained a wealth of knowledge from the Egyptian during his time with them.

I believe the books of bible that Moses wrote taken from Egypt, and he wasn't inspired by God on Mt. sini. Moses went to mountain figured out how get this massive crowd of people to abide by this knowledge.

I believe the bible was written by the Egyptian. I could be wrong, but that is how i see it.

Yes Egypt and also India and China etc all hold great Truths and much knowledge from ancient times.

the bible is full of stories and fables handed down from generation to generation
for thousands of years before they were written down and I wont even go into how different the book might be from the original fables

We are posting about the people who wrote the bible are we not? if so then they must have been capable of writing - not primitive.

Now as it has already been stated that the bible as you now was most likely taken from earlier works......possible of an Egyptian original.
To do that they must have been able to read and comprehend in order for them to translated it to their native script.

It is agreed or thought that by the time of Moses the Israelites were a literate people....hence the ten commandments and all those laws.

"Thou shalt not plagerize."

'HolyMoses' did toss a whole other set of rules down the mountainside in anger according to the fables. They went on to read...

"12. Thou shalt not work for idiots, liars and cheats.

14. Thou shalt not poke bee-hives with sticks.
15. Thou shalt not invite the friends for a drink and/or dinner and then [once again] find that your wallet is not in your pocket.
16. Thou shalt not buy products, goods or services from companies who conflict with your own personal sensibilities or thou shalt be branded a hypocrite.

These...pretty much...are the OTHER 10 commandments which Moses 'dashed' away. But is that mentioned in King James Fables or any other legendary 'good book'? No...because in many ways the so-called 'scholars' who wrote that stuff [after the fact, and who had little sense of history and no foresight for an evolving future] were just a bunch of men who could only barely see the end of their collective noses through the limitations of human eyesight...and in the pre-glasses era no less.

No I am not saying that, many of the stories in the bible was written down long before the time of Abraham the reputed father of the Hebrew/Israelite peoples.

As to the flood; from de oages of de bible nothing could be more inaccurate
Genesis 7:20 tells us the whole earth was covered by 15 cubits of water.
1 cubit = 2.5 ft
So smaddy need fi tell we how de whole earth was covered by 22ft a water.

Some christians like to come wid foolishness bout how a cubit was different back then, than it is today, saying anything to mek de story fit fi dem believe shytstem.
So if de flood was false then yuh done know nuff a de rest is false as well.
