How did humans (and everything else) come into existence? The only explanation you will find in public school and university textbooks is the theory of evolution. Yet, no scientific, provable evidence supporting the theory of evolution has emerged since Charles Darwin popularized it in 1859.

If there is no support for the theory of evolution, why is no alternative taught? We can only think of two reasons:

red arrowhead The authors, book publishers, and school boards do not have all the facts.

We can not help the first condition. This page does contain all the necessary information needed for everyone else.

They'll be onstage at the museum. According to the Courier-Journal, "the $25 tickets ... sold out in two minutes, and discussion of the event has lit up cultural blogs, attracted national attention and stoked an ages-old fight between science and religion."

— Ham: "Most students are presented only with the evolutionary belief system in their schools, and they are censored from hearing challenges to it. Let our young people understand science correctly and hear both sides of the origins issue and then evaluate them."

— Nye: "I say to the grownups, if you want to deny evolution and live in your world, that's completely inconsistent with the world we observe, that's fine. But don't make your kids do it. Because we need them. We need scientifically literate voters and taxpayers for the future. We need engineers that can build stuff and solve problems."

The way I see it is that the creation story in the bible is a metaphor.
Evolution is the explanation of the workings of creation
I see little contradiction.

Here is the problem. The bible say the earth is 6000 years old and evolution says it's 4.54 billion years old.

If you research through the bible it shows that God didn't created the earth. He form it because there was nothing in it. It was empty just like mars.

Evolution might be right about how old the earth is.

From the time when the spirit of God move up on face of the earth might be over 6000 years.

But we know for a fact the Earth was not empty as you say because
Dinosaurs ruled the Earth some 200 million years ago we also have found early human remains(I use the term loosely) as old as 100,000 years ago

it is a question of interpretation...
one can choose to interpret the word "day" as a 24-hour period or one can interpret "day" as an age or an era...like "in my grandfather's day, things were very different"...
