It is my opinion that the "original (autograph) source" material was written as one work pretty much at the same time.

The Hebrew people then translated what is called the Pentateuch or Torah.... Instructions
The Israelite nation then a added the Tanakh.....Prophets and Writings.
All Together called the old testament

Finally the Jews gave us the Gospels..... Synoptic and the Letters
Altogether called the New Testament

The bible as we know is not concern with the other scriptures known as the Talmud, the Apocrypha, etc.
