Interesting point. Personally, I agree with you. I remember stating once that Jesus was not a 'christian' as how we look at organised religion nowadays.

I guess that verse of Scripture when Jesus says &quot;Upon this Rock I build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it&quot;, is what is used to contend that viewpoint.

Jesus is a Christian. You have to get deep to understand it! I will explain it soon. Just meditate on this. Christian mean &quot;Of Christ or belonging to Christ &quot;. Christ means the Anointed one. The father is the first anointed one. The Father is the original Christ! Jesus Christ is of the father or belongs to the father! Everyone in Heaven is Christian even the Angels. Jesus is a Christian.
