Prayers needed please, for a 5year old boy, who had an accident.

the doctors said it was the worst severed spine case they ever saw, He had to be revived 2 times on Friday.

nurses who works at the hospital says the doctors tear up when they talk about Nico.

Nico is still in very critical condition at Jefferson Hospital. He had additional surgery on Sunday night and suffered one or two strokes during the surgery. They inserted a steel rod in his spine (I believe but I am receiving this information second hand through a teacher who went for a visit last evening) and he is heavily sedated. They will keep him heavily sedated and they have no idea at this point whether there is brain damage or permanent paralysis. From what I am told, it is a &quot;wait and see&quot; issue now.
The parent and student who went to visit him last night said that Nico's mother was there and was speaking to him and rubbing his head and communicating that there were visitors to see him. He did not open his eyes but a tear rolled down his cheek. I am told this is/was a good sign.

Please keep him in your prayers as he certainly needs them and can use prayers from all of us.

this little boy got paralyzed, just by jumping into a pile of leaves!!

<span style="font-weight: bold">Nico had been transferred to a Rehabilitation Center in Philadelphia, as there was nothing else that could be done for him at Jefferson Hospital.

He had a setback last Friday, though, and was transferred to Jefferson again where he remains at this time. God willing he will pass this crisis and be transferred back to Magee and they can help him with therapy.

There is still no improvement with regard to his paralysis so please continue to pray for him because I do believe in miracles.</span>

Father, we know you are still in the miracle working business, and we pray You honor our request and restore this little man back to a full recovery. Help us Father we pray~

oh man, that sucks! hope he pulls through and everything improves for him. there is a lot that can be done these days with nerve pathways and such.
