Christians were persecuted, thrown to lions, and all that, in the early centuries AD. But that stopped when Christianity became 'legit' and became the religion of the Roman Empire. Christianity then became a persecuting power, and it's atrocities are well documented. Indeed, the crimes of the three 'desert religions' - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - the 'big three', are well documented, so I wouldn't want to single out Christianity.

The reason I single out Christianity is because there are few muslims or ppl who practice judaism bout here.

Islam and judaism are really just sects of christianity anyhow.

Your view is in relation to that of one living in a culture that is pro-christian or at least accepting of christians. Try living as a christian in some middle eastern countries like Saudi Arabia. God help you if they find you carrying a Bible on your person.

To be correct, Christianity is a sect of Judaism while Islam, the youngest of the three is basically a mixture of the two with hints of old Arabian mythology and some old Gnostic beliefs.

I am not even going back that far. When I think Judaism, I think after the Babylonian Captivity and that preceded Christianity by 4-500 years.

As for you other point, I must agree with you up to a point because I believe there probably were some tribes of Hebrews running around Egypt back in the day, however, the great, grand story recounted in the book of Exodus is HIGHLY embellished and exaggerated.
