alright, this isnt a traditional Christmas song but I have to confess I absolutely adore this song When I hear it I smile from ear to ear and sing along quite loudly much to the chagrin of anyone within ear shot.

I was at a client's office last Thursday and was playing this song on my PC as I worked...plus singing along when the CEO came into my office (I am kitty corner to his) he asked me if I was alright
He said my "enthusiasum" was contagious

this song, Feliz Navidad and the theme from Seasame Street are my &quot;happy&quot; songs! I will sing any one of them <span style="font-weight: bold">any time of the year </span>when I am happy and relaxed It seems to drive others crazy though

This is one of the best rendition I can find on Utube, although the video is blurry...remember when I had to sing this from the (music) score in Undergrad....if yuh want credits <span style="font-style: italic">

Good Thread, enjoying the different versions of the Christmas songs, However, I keep going back and replaying the Luther Vandross song. Thanks (((Nylah))) I love love me some Luther I am going to look for his Christmas CD while I am out today!

What about when the carols are sung in another language other than english?

I simply adore listening 'Silent Night' (Noche de Paz) sung in Spanish. Beautiful!

When I was a girl we sang it to a different tune in St.Anne's church a West Kingston...an for di life of meee, mi cyannot fine it pan the www...henniways, dis still bring back some solid memories of yore..

No Ms A...we sang only the lyrics....as I hinted, there's another tune/melody we used to sing at *my* church, which IMO is even more beautiful.. Planning to sing it and tape it for the other generations to hear. Glad you like it.
