Regarding it having been a long time topic...which you removed from your post...I get that TOO H.O. And that it has raised eyebrows for longer than you and I have been alive...added together and multiplied x 2 or 3 or 4.

But...when the country is SO SMACKED...I don't feel right about kicking anyone there while they're down.

As I stated before,they are far too pre-occupied with religious mumbo jumbo and black arts rituals,it all seems to take precedence over common sense and is rooted in their sense of culture.

I think their uncivilised practises is worthy of discussion now,after the initial clean up and rescue operations are complete haiti will need massive foreign aid to get it back on its feet,they too will have to examine the way they are perceived by outsiders if they expect foreign investments to boost their economy.

You can't be too far above them if you're kicking them while they are down anyway.
it say a lot about the one doing the kicking.
They are fighting their own demons.
the problem is that are projecting that which they doing internally.
i have been identified a sbeing able to recognize patterns since i was a child. And one pattern i remarked when I was very young,is that disabled kids were always the first to call people names. It is still the case today.
the ones with the most problem are always the first to find fault with others.

I think at the end of the day, in this world theres the weak and the strong. and at the end of the day its a dog eat dog world.
I think theres only so many times you can save the rabbit from gettin eaten by the fox. Its a sad world but sometimes you have to stand back.

I would say, no more so than what we Jamaicans used to do during the early days of our emancipation from slavery. They are stuck culturally in a time zone that has long past. We all know some of the reasons why. They were not allowed to build their society by being in control and by interaction with others who meant them well.. The Colonial yoke and imperial forces stood in their way...

We need to be sensitive especially at this time. The foreign media types predominantly &quot;white&quot; are more interested in playing it up because the mystery and the exagerations sells..You could see the white hand behind the camera in some scenes...
