Well MG, I wasn't there enno however since Adam and Eve were the original models, then I could see that they could have had a belly button.

It's one of those questions that we will just have to wait to get an answer on.

Well compray,I find it incredible that you should answer such a question so flippantly,since you yourself would go out on a limb to defend everything in the bible even though you werent there,why are you having trouble answering this one.

That would probably be because the artistes painted adam in their own image,and went by their experiences,similar to how &quot;god&quot; is depicted in man`s image,that is why you rarely see images of a black god,or indeed a black adam,fig leaves only come in white man`s size.

I re-iterate what I said,you yourself have on occasion go out on a limb to defend whatever is written in the bible,...now you`re squirming when a very valid question regarding creation is presented to you.

Who cares what the bible may have stated about adam`s belly button or not ,...the point is,if you (and I am sure you do)believe that adam was the first man then how do you explain him being depicted as having a belly button when he was not supposed to have had an umbilical cord given the way in which he was created.....eeeenhh ansah me dat.

Ok, nice paintings. Noticed Eve was consistently heavy in the abdomen.

With what we know about navels, then no Adam should not have had one or Eve either for that matter based on them being built from either dirt or a rib.

OK...we are talking about Adam &amp; Eve right? I do believe they are introduced to us via the Bible and the Bible does not talk about their belly buttons as far as I know.
