How appropriate that the artiste should be called hans baldung,.....the woman is practically bald-dung deh,...considering the period,shouldnt her pubic hair be reaching down to her knees,I dont imagine they had bikini waxing in those days.

Compray,you are correct,I dont believe whatever is written in the bible,and certainly dont believe the fantastical notion of adam and eve,there has been absolutely no credible evidence to support anything written in the bible,and no credible evidence to support the notion that the human race was started by adam and eve,who was fashioned from dirt by some &quot;god&quot;.
I believe in the evolution of man,we have evolved from hominids, and there have been credible scientific study of differing disciplines which also entails anthropology,genetics,primatology,and genetics,to support the case for the evolution of mankind.
As for the belly button question, my personal opinion is that YES,the first man/woman would have a belly button,because the only way we can be produced is via the umbilical cord. </div></div>

well that could work if the first human was a woman (womb-man)...
granted -the adam &amp; eve tale is allegorical-fictional...but many actual historical people &amp; events are described in some of the books that make up 'the bible' as well...history &amp; fiction are interwoven depending on the author's take or means of telling his story...

That would probably be because the artistes painted adam in their own image,and went by their experiences,similar to how &quot;god&quot; is depicted in man`s image,that is why you rarely see images of a black god,or indeed a black adam,fig leaves only come in white man`s size. </div></div>

that's real talk...
the propaganda machine subliminally tells them the first humans were white...the closest to &quot;god's&quot; image...

these are simply old european artist depictions of a fictional story...
they have no particular extra-ordinary supernatural or spiritual value

Given that I was just listening to an article about propaganda and its origins, I would tend to agree that it is indeed entertaining for us to consider the belly button of Adam, which pre-supposes all of the back story to the individual.

So the very discussion re-enforces the belief even while seeming to challenge it.

That's a beautiful rhetoric device in use before our very eyes...
