after all, if u claim to be reborn then u should claim the Sonship and like the Messiah,in ur times of need, i.e. human uncertainty, u call on the Father by prayer and remain in the Word...the example as set by Jesus especially in the Garden of Gethsemane...dat is y i dont believe all dis continual rhetoric of man being fallible..if u claim the Sonship, u suppose to resist and follow the pattern set for said resistance

it is laziness and hypocrital not to mention not being totally immersed as u tink u r wen u sin an den seh u not perfect...u know u not perfect going in so wen the temptation to sin comes about, that is wen u fulfill ur claim to be a follower of theWord.....if it even mean u haffi lock u self in the closet an pray widdout break, well, many have done that in the past ...

every time someone is caught up in some unChristian behaviour, they say that they r born in sin, human an therefore fallible....

but i wonder , if they claim to be reborn in Christ, does not wat is said in that verse from 1 Peter negate their being able to hold the fallible thing as the reason they flounder...is it not really their failure to commit totally to Christ..after all His example of what to do in times of weakness should negate man sinning time after time after time after time

as the verse says, if u claim to be reborn in Christ, <span style="font-weight: bold">Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever </span>

i.e u r no longer born of sinful man but now r reborn of sinless Christ and this claim to being sinless is achieved if u stay in the Word...so if u find u r being tried u follow the pattern of Christ...anyting else is ur laziness n willfullness n failure to commit

after all how many times can u sin before u play out ur hand

yes, we're born again of incorruptible seed when the old man dies and all things becomes new. this is a growth process that matures at His coming. you grow fast by worship in spirit, surrender your will, fasting and prayer, reading and meditating on the word (Jesus), doing this kills the flesh and empower the spirit.

He's spirit - you must worship Him in spirit and truth.

submit to God, resist sin and the enemy will flee from you!

it's He who acts in us to will and to do, thus, we have the desire of His heart so we can please Him in all we do.

Flesh and blood can't enter!

He's coming for mature bride NOT infant drinking milk.
He's coming for wise bride NOT the 5 foolish virgin that run out of oil.
He's coming for bride dress in fine linen, white and clean (righteous), without spot or wrinkles NOT one in filthy rags/naked (sin).

with every temptation He provide a way to escape. we just didn't chose the escape path. perhaps, we forgot about plug out the eye or cut off the hand. like the poster says, lock in the pray closet. we have to do something radical and drastic to avoid sin. quit the job, take a longer road whatever it takes. Christ did something radical for us.

as we do in the physical do like wise in the spiritual. if we fall get up asap and repent. decent folks don't live in pooph neither can born again continue walking in sin.
forget what's behind and press on for the prize. we have to compete by the rule to win the prize.

not being perfect is no excuse to rape a child, steal a car or even lie on your co-worker. not even unbelievers wouldn't caught doing some of the things believers are doing.

the battle is in the mind. once i watched porn online and it took over 1yr to get it out of my mind. it was awful. we have to be careful of the places we go, things we listen to and see because one things leads to another.
