the great misconception is that white brought Christianity to blacks. Can you give what you don't have? white men has always worship a rubber copy of Jesus and they're still doing that.

They need jesus because humans are weak,they have a great need to look to something or someone of a higher power to put meaning to their meaningless existence.

If i was alive during christ's time i would do everything to stop the torture and the crucifixion of an innocent man. crucifixion is the roman's penalty for treason. and the idea that a man died for my sins takes away my free choice to object and speak out against the killing of an innocent man. a man dying for my sins takes away the concept of personal responsibility

Christians have been saying he is coming back for 2000 years and Jesus made a failed prophecy when he told his disciples that their generation will not passed and Jesus was not pierced in his side with a sword and only a dictator would forced people to bow down to him and worship him which is similar to North Korea's Kim Jung Il's personality cult the only difference is you can leave North Korea

You can leave religion too,no one is forced to accept it,....either that or shop around the world through the many different religions and chose one that is more people friendly.

on the contrary I grew up in an environment filled with religious brainwashing and indoctrination. I ceased believe in the claims of Christianity after i did research on the history of Judaism and Christianity and how the council of nicea created the doctrines which made up modern Christianity. also the bible is filled with scientific and historical inaccuracies. Christianity is a religion which thrives on ignorance, the uneducated, illiteracy and censorship,

that was the first thing asked too. they have their whole life record from the day they tested positive. one case they were on tv begging money to pay for operation. the hole in the heart xray was gone. the before picture with 2lbs neck tumor was gone. since Jesus don't charge for healing, i kinder what if they returned the money they had beg.

I was going through an old college text on socialism and came across the chapter on Utopian Socialism which was a form of socialism that predated Karl Marx.

One of the leading French socialists of the time (1825) wrote a long public message that detailed the heresy of all of the Christian churches of that time, heresy meaning going against the teachings of God.

he said all the so-called christians got caught up in the buildings, the rituals and the indoctrination that told them that they needed the church to communicate with God; that the lay people are not capable of spirituality without the guidance of someone no more qualified than they to teach spirituality.
He pointed out repeatedly that God, either through or with Christ, said that the overriding purpose in a christian's life is working to ameliorate the condition of the poorer people.
PERIOD , no qualifications,
TAKE CARE OF THE POOR BEFORE you pay that money to support a church building and priests.

What he said was that by singing and shouting and dressing up and repeating the same ditties and phrases over and over in a meticulous way all distracts us in a complete fashion from the original message of God/Jesus; which is:
TAKE CARE OF THE POOR AND NOT LATER.....RIGHT NOW.....BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE.

and that's NOT what most churches spend most of their time doing.

It IS what Jesus asked us, TOLD us to do.
Along with treating everyone as you would have them treat you.

Therefore most all Christian churches are heretical.

Christ said to do X and you're doing Y .

The man also pointed out that the Bible does not provide a clear way of life that would take care of the poor and that the main message, THE message of take care of the poor which is buried amidst lots of biblical mumbo-jumbo that is NOT moral guidance, that men not God made so many of the rules and practices that we see in church services and all these layers of ceremony and ritual even further obfuscate Christ's clear, simple, easy-to-understand message which is (to repeat necessarily) TAKE CARE OF THE POOREST AMONGST US...... F-I-R-S-T .

The Church is a poor spiritual guide. They've lost Christ's message in trappings and ritual.


Think about it, were Christ to wander in to a Roman Catholic High Mass or into a church with a rip-roaring gospel choir with a ten-piece back-up band singing out His praise, he wouldn't have the slightest clue about what was happening and once He found out, I don't think he would be happy.

He might say:

What is it you don't understand about &quot;helping the poor&quot; or &quot;immediately&quot;?


Anyway this was an interesting way to look at how the church has failed its moral origins and how early socialism had its base in the primitive Christianity that adhered to HELPING THE POOR FIRST AND FOREMOST.
(I can see where repeating this phrase could be easy to get into...except maybe for when one is in church)


Oh well, you can all repent of your heresies before judgement day.
