Apocalypse now?

Thousands of dead birds dropping out of the sky. Thousands of dead fish washing up on shores. "Biblical floods" in Australia. Incmprehensibly extreme weather.

i hear some people are frightened that all this means the imminent end of the world. the rapture is upon us ...

I wonder what Jcans.com Christians make of all this.

It's something that makes me go hmmmm but I have not equated it to indicate the beginning of the end. Lately the movie 2012 has been on my mind.

Even t he floods and mudslides in Cali and the blizzards in the deep south are causing alarm just to watch them on tv..

What is even more frightening is the prediction mi si dem talking bout on tv bout 2012 being the last year of the planet's existence...

If it is indeed the end of the planets existence then it is long overdue,I believe every now and again the planet need to refresh itself,get rid of some of the current occupiers and pave the way for people who can appreciate that we are not the only species on the planet,it's not all about us.

well it's definitely an apocalyptic time...and the basic theme is very real...the forces of destruction versus the forces of good life...
many of the tales in religious texts are allegorical but never-the-less many are really on point...
humanity in its arrogance attempts to usurp the power of the most high...

i don't think it's something limited to christians...everyone can feel big changes coming up...
whether one believes in christ or not, the times definitely have an apocalyptic feel

disasters have been happening on the planet since we were living in caves.
what is happening is what is called the Gaia effect.(pronounce GUY_AH)

lets look at the science behind what is happening,,not some religious hogwash hoopla.

since life strted on earth, the suns energy has increased 20%-30%. however the Earths surface temp has remained constant on a global scale. the Ocean salinity has remained the same at 3.4% most living organisms require a contstant salinity and most living cells cannot tolerate anything higher than 5%.
so, my point being here is the Planet goes through climactic changes.

yea but things like the decline in the bee population and certain things can be attributable to humanity..who knows what kind of effects a nuclear holocaust could have on earth's natural processes ...
who knows how all this constant bombardment with radio &amp; micro waves &amp; radiation is affecting living organisms...
so-called world economic crisis which seems to have no end in sight...
gloom &amp; doom on the news everyday...

maybe earth's entire history had an apocalyptic feel
