first, I'd say as a general criticism, there isn't a lot of need for you to hyperbolize what people are saying. no one is saying, at least in the scientific field, that humans are so 'useless', just that they are not well designed- so looking at the premise and granting it for the sake of argument, that there is a designer- it doesn't make a lot of plausible sense because there is so much evidence of poor design.
so considering OUR flawed design, WE will design better organisms. for example. yet omniscience and omnipotence beyond our comprehension is claimed for our creator. this makes no sense generally, especially when compounded by the logical problem of evil.
anyway.
as to the second point in your post, what you are not considering is that it is not WE necessarily who will be able to create these super amazing machines pre-singularity and beyond, but it will probably be other machines or man/machine hybrids...that have evolved in exponential growth curves from what we started beyond present comprehension.
