Re: ahra kwesi explains adam & eve origin
my question for these kinds of students and I guess instructors, is, what happens when they find their own sacred cow roasted.
obviously there was no literal adam and eve nor tree of the knowledge of good and evil (or Tree of Life which is actually why God expunged them from the Garden), but likewise there is no Seshat.
while it seems clear there are several archetypal myths which form the framework upon which a people's cultural and ethnic system is developed, I don't understand why people feel the need to elevate one against another, pretend that nobody's myths are derivative of what came before, and don't just focus on what is most important, rather than simply confine themselves to an understanding of the fluidity of these archetypes across cultures, what they mean, and why, whole new orders of gobbledeegook are created.
still I tend to agree with him that women in general are given the short end of the stick, and it would be nice to see their position in this world or any world elevated.
