The above picture was taken in 2003 on the island where I was was raised in the Caribbean - St. Kitts (Christopher). This was the first church I attended, as I used to have to go with my grandmother. It was a Catholic Church and back in those days, the masses were strictly in Latin. The church was the dominant fixture in my rural town.



Shot this pic on the day of the &quot;Great 2011 Earthquake&quot; on 89th st and B'way here in New York City.

LOL....I could use a Canon 60D.

I finally got a Canon Rebel Ti2 in Feb. I'm in heaven.

o mutty, these are gorgeous. i've started going to st. anthony's catholic church and the stained glass, restrained atmosphere and sense sombreness is wonderful.

Lovely pics Did you post them previously? I vaguely recall seeing them somewhere before. Also, I LOVE the top two. Which church is that?

Hey C.D. Thank you and yes, I posted some of these pics before over on another forum. Thought this was an appropriate forum to post them.

The first pic is a church on Lexington Ave where it meets 75th street here in New York City. The second picture is a church on Park Ave next to the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. In other words, somewhere around 50th street and Park Ave.

Yes, that is where I was raised Seveen - St. Kitts that is. That is where my dad is from and my mom is from next door - Nevis. I could live there too, as Nevis is one of the Caribbean's best kept secrets.
