What I said is fact proven by scientific study and by my own experiences here at the various fora: fundamentalist religious people and right wing political "thinkers" will not, cannot, do not read or hear the other side of things.

This is the main reason why you do not see me posting much in these fora.

You can also blame the Bible, at least Matthew 7:6 ;ancient advice that is totally relevant to these fora.

i contend that the word "God" is probably the most misleading and ambiguous word in the english language...
there are so many concepts & ides/philosophies on who/what "God" is that debunking one concept of "God" is only the tip of the iceberg, since, by definition, we absolutely do not know the exact story of the origin of origins at thgis point in our journey on this planet...in this galaxy...in this universe;

you have solid arguments against a "magician in the sky"...but that is but one conept of god...one that the ancient egyptians did not hold...

to them & their origin myths, it started in an abyssal water/liquid called "Nun"....which already contained all the elements needed for life-- just no specific form...

I do not know a single other way of referring to "God" that does not include a reference to a supernatural being or power and which has no empirical proof behind it .

Can you name any God, power, force that is not supernatural in form ?

What is more possible, far more possible is that we were created in some fashion by an alien race who, millions of years ago, planted the life forms which then evolved into what we see today.

As said , "Science sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic" or in this case many people's idea of God or a higher power or an intelligent designer.

Given the boundless time and space of the universe the odds are infinitely (to coin a phrase) greater that aliens rather than a supernatural entity created life on Earth.

That is, if you want and need an extra-terrestrial explanation for our existence because long held beliefs preclude you from accepting abiogenesis which is based on pure chemistry and which happened right here on Earth without outside involvement.
