definitely a runoff from the "where is god"? thread....
i think living matter can contain 'dead' matter and obviously the reverse is also true...
it would even seem they can become interchangeable...
the bible even says from dust came and to dust shall return...which is accurate when you consider that a living creature---when it ceases to live---becomes non-living matter, no?
the ancient egyptian texts said in the beginning was just a gel/water-like substance without specific form---and all the materials of the universe & of life were contained within....

I consider all matter to be living, just that we are unable to recognize the inherent life.
