How would you define Faith?
Is it a good thing or a bad thing?
What is the purpose if Faith?
The definition most given by Christians is
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.</div></div>
The dictionary gives this definition
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">confidence or trust in a person or thing</div></div>
My own personal definition would be a - belief that is not based on proof or reason or logic or rational though.....as such it is a good tool to be used to find Truth.
Having said the above, I would be remiss if I did not add that most Western Christians have been misusing and abusing faith and what they now called Faith is in reality Blind Faith in that it hides and runs from truth.
