I would say yes by todays standard he would be considered Gay.......back then in Roman occupied Israel it was either seen as a type of machismo or mentoring relationship

Re: Was Jesus Gay?
One of the article's posts sums it up for me:
"The entire argument, for or against, seems silly. There is little or no objective evidence of the kind of relationship he may have had with anyone. There is only religiously-inspired doctrine and/or "historical" writings that come from perspectives of either Christian or Jewish scholars. Further, it was common among several radical mystics at the time (Nazirites, Essenes and other ascetics) to remain umarried. Still further, how Jesus and his close companions lived appears to include several women followers. Compare to Gautama before he became enlightened, left his wife and child and pursued a life with five or six other men, travelling about in Northern India - does this mean the Buddha was gay as well?"

Why do the heathen rage and the people imagine a vain thing....
Fools will jump at any retarded attempt to malign Jesus/Yashua and this forum seems to have no lack in its fair share....

Yes. There are far too many non-religious historical records that prove the existence of the man, and the major events in His life as roughly described in the Bible.
The only question - to some - would be if they believed, or not, that He was the Messiah. Some might believe that he was merely a man.
