My back-up solar array.

Just got the stuff today. Portable. It should power the refridgerator, some elecronics, and lights in the back half of the house. It was still charging even this late in the day at a bad angle.

what is your main power supply?

Electricity from Kit Carson Electric co-op. Propane hot water, range, and main heater unit plus a wood stove in living room. Got most of the bases covered. This 125 yr. old adobe has 3' thick walls.

Thanks, Peasie...the place is very rustic to say the least, and was abandoned for 20yrs. so it has been a project. I jus read the manual for the solar charge controller and apparently it can be monitored and regulated through the wifi and my laptop. I am speechless. !500 miles away from my kids, and without any supervision, I think I have enuf knowledge to deal with this aspect of the system. (Therefore I'm screwed!)
Haven't read the inverter manual yet but noticed there was a usb port and something else. I'm going to screw things up double.
