No its just people getting together that have puppies.
They can't be more than 6 months old. Its a socialization thing. I went on Sunday and there was just one other puppy there so "momma" and "aja" had the run of the place.
I ran into it just on Saturday on www.meetup.com
I put in my interests and found 2 dog meetups in the area.

Wow, that sounds like fun! I wasn't sure what your post was about so I was kind of waiting for you to come back.
So, how was it? I get it was fun! Great socializing tool for everyone,people and the pets. Fun idea and I saw a Doberman group on your link page!
