i did it!

i adopted a 5 year old black lab from the humane society

she was found abandoned in an RV park

the clinker was i found out that she was picked up and taken to animal control on my birthday

so she's been in captivity for a minute and will need some TLC when she gets here - animal control doesn't have vets on sight so i have to wait maybe up to a week before she will be here

any suggestions for names? would love something jamaica related, of course

YOu know we searched for the right Jamaica name when I was getting mine, and I ended up with a Japanese name like Mika had...so I'm at a loss.. How about Loops???

I had Lamont, which was short for Lamont Tego Bay.

Ziggy can be a girl name if spelled Ziggi

There is Diamond. He is not one of the sled dogs, but he is the official greeter at the compound and is a very coiol dog.

A friend is going to name her next dog Clark. She has a Bob, Ralph, Cooper, Chrissy, and Chanel already. Yes I know you aren't gonna give her a boy name, I was just throwing people names around. I love people names on dogs!

Do not, under any circumstances name her Chloris though.

gosh she's gorgeous - the shiniest hair on a dog i've ever seen - and those brown eyes just make me melt
