Max nuh stap gi mi joke... I never see ah dawg so fraidy fraidy fram I was born!

If him hear de breeze ah blow outside im run go hide undaneet de kitchen table an ah peep out from behine mi foot.

Sometimes mi walk up behine him an crinkle paypa - im jump like chree foot inna de air an tek awf!!! whooiii

But wen we go to the Vet im waan bark afta de big ole Alsatian dawg weh can swallow him wid one gulp. \o/

u need a big manly dog like a german shepherd or a rottweiller...

Amy (my persianish cat) did hide for almost two weeks when i had visitors last summer. (come out at nite and eat)..until she did get tired a waiting dem out.....and start come out during the day (but she did watch them every move )

Some of the small dawg can be so funny that way! Sometimes it is just the personality of the individual. My ChaCha is my little fraidy dawg. She is fine with everything but she only likes me. She will hide when anyone comes over. She is going on 4 years old and I am planning to see if I can help her overcome this now that I am out and about. She got this way because of my lack of ability to socialize her when she was young because I was housebound. Only ChaCha is this way even though I have a few others that would be this way too, for the same reason...but they have outgoing personalities.

Anyway, if you want to try to help Max overcome his fraidyness there are so many resources available nowadays. The biggest part to play on your behalf is not to feed into his insecurities and keep them going. Sometimes our reaction to them just perpetuates the wheel already in motion, so to speak. It's not always easy but it's pretty much a cause and effect thing.
