I see the blackbirds flying just above or behind the hawks and bald eagles all the time. I will have to pay closer attention to see if I can spot one going for a ride! They are safe in those places cause the prey birds can't get at them. There is a fiction that Hummingbirds ride on the back of geese when migrating but I have read it is only folklore.
