It sounds as though she is skittish with strangers so hopefully what you will get is phone calls with locations. Good thing you have told animal control so they can keep a look out for her.



That rain might be a good thing all in all. She might decide this is no fun atall and want the dry safety of her house and work her way home.

i found that posters with a reward help!

we circulated posters with a reward and without

the dog was found 40 miles away

of course they called the number on the reward poster

update:

Friday and Saturday we plastered the town with flyers and emails (i even created an email address for the dog )

Then Saturday afternoon while my husband put up more flyers in the neighboring town he got a call at home. She was found by the stream where she ran away from the dogcatcher, by a house we had actually looked at when we were looking for home (we thought our kids would wander down the stream in the back ) -- she came to the owners who looked at the tags (she had lost her id tag from us, but had her rabies tag). They called the vet who looked up her rabies ID number and called us.

Kissy was excited to see mrKia and smiled and she hopped into the car and went home.

Kissy's hind legs hurt probably due to the excess running and walking along the stream, she is a little skinnier than her usual self (small frequent meals of people food will help that) and tired.


Clancy was excited to see her (he was depressed until then moping around the house).

When I came home with the kids they were excited to have her back and now we are all tired, sleepy and planning to take the day slow.

Oh happy day! What wonderful news! I bet she is tired and sore and ready for some love and good cooking!

Skells she was about a mile away from home but right where the dog catcher lost her.

dem is famous cause dem tie up traffic pon de main road fi 20 mins while everybady out deh a catch dem
