"Pink Paws for Life (Pink Paws) is a charitable foundation dedicated to finding a cure for pet cancers. Our goal is to provide widespread awareness and funding for pet cancer research and prevention measures.
Pink Paws for Life works with Universities, Medical facilities and other organizations to provide pets and families with treatment, education, resources and programs.
We are also committed to securing funds for the advancement of clinical research, which will aid in early detection, diagnosis and prevention of such cancers.
To raise funds and support our initiatives we sponsor a number of non-competitive canine and human walks, pet fashion shows and other events. Pink Paws fundraises and receives donations from corporations, organizations, and individual donors.
As information about pet cancers and treatment is extremely limited, Pink Paws utilizes its relationships and resources to bring awareness to these life threatening diseases and under funded research initiatives.
Anyone who has had cancer, or has a loved one with cancer, knows this disease affects the entire family – this is no different when the ill family member is a pet. Pink Paws is dedicated to making sure pets with cancer can live longer and better lives. We also provide resources for family members so that they get the support needed when their loved one is diagnosed.
One of our key objectives is to ensure that pets diagnosed with cancer receive the most effective and least toxic treatments, so that cancer-related mortality in pets is no more. All that we do is ultimately geared to curing pet cancers “because they’re our best friends”."
