i gats di dawg. he just keeps staring at me. i'm sitting here at 3:17 in my undies while he sits at my feet staring up in my face.


everytime i get up. he gets up and stares into my face. if i tell him to lie down he does it, so i guess it's not a problem. do animals face boredom the same way humans do, or are they just content to be content?

Is this the proxy dawg Sue? The Aussie? Yep, lotta energy they have and he sure enough could get bored easy since they are also so smart. A evening exercise would help. Especially a herder, their energy is boundless. I'm sure he takes great pleasure in having you right where you should be! He is prolly sitting there so nice and proud and smiling away that you are in his sight and not moving!

I've also been known to feign sleep when I knew some dawg was staring at me in the middle of the night wanting to play!

But seriously, if you are in to a good nights sleep the dawg mus learn that he is not to bother you when it's bed time. They do get bored and need entertaining but 3am ain't the time! An evening meal at bed time might help him rest better also.

One thing is certain...if you do start paying attention to him in the middle of the night just because he is awake, he will soon learn that this is a fun new game and he will expect it every night! I'd be putting him on ignore...

my cats sleep about 22 hours out of the day.

they spend the rest of the time posing, washing themselves, eating, and cuddling with their mommy

they bat their toys around and chase each other when they're feeling really active.

Mad puss has been know to bring her toy to me @ 1am for me to throw (she likes to play fetch)..but i've also been known to ask her if she really mad fi true and go back to sleep.

oh all this to say that me nuh know nothing bout u herding dog
