Rescue dog - from death row! From her initial behaviour it was obvious to staff she had been abused PRIOR to being abandoned -found as a stray. She was a bit shy at first but she has settled in nicely and now loves the attention she is getting. Very playful, gets along great with all the other dogs and pets here at the Rescue center. She loves cuddles and people, enjoys sleeping on the couch and going for walks. Flip is approx 1 year old and a very sweet little girl. For those who enjoy a playfull dog - she is it, will play tug of war or with teddies as much as you want! She evens plays by herself, throwing the toys up and down - just too cute to watch!
Brought her home today, and I tell you - she has fit right in! She's resting beside me on the floor right now, does well on her walks (except her leash training will be difficult). The only bad thing is the shedding -nothing a good bath and regular brushing cannot fix. She tends to growl at some strange noises, like the washing machine.
She does need a better name though- although Flip does describe her energy, it's more of a 'boy' name.

tempting - but likely much more expensive in Canada -will see what the vet says next week
