mi inherit dese two dawgs dat is breaking mi dung..wen mi get dem, dem was dining daily on rotisserie chicken...so dem no like dawg food..all mi try disguise di taste dem juss cut dem yeye an walk weh...so mi find miself cooking steak , chicken. u name it,i am doing it fi dem...now dem even seem to be tyad of dat...

so we deh pon sandwich meat wich is too high in salt..dem like cheese n lass nite we ate peanuts..

helppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp...how do i break dem before dem break me

feed them the dog food and nothing else. maybe soften up a little bit wid likkle water or low sodium chicken stock.

when dem hungry they will eat, just don't give in an feed them your food.

Or cook some ground beef wid rice (boil them together)

dogs have preferences just like we do. you just have to keep experimenting with the brand of CANINE food, until you find something that they like. Then only feed them that...even when they give you the eyes that make you want to just hug dem up.

some of the "non-chain" pet food stores sell dry food in bulk. You can go an just get likkle bit of a varity of brands so they can sample without breaking the bank and wasting the food.

Oh also the food bank will take your unused dog food. or a local dog rescue.

make sure you giving them the kibble for small dogs. Usually if you put gravey on it dem will eat it when dem hungry

Here's what I would do:

For two small dogs I would use about 1/4 can of a canned food and mix it with the dry kibble. Then I would add hot water and mix it all up. Let the mixture soak for awhile and then serve it to them.

Sooner or later they will get hungry and eat it and they will probably even like it!

You don't want to resort to giving them too much canned as it is so low in protein.

Before I lost Sugar Pie he started getting pretty finicky about food. I found he just loved the EVO ancestral diet small bites soaked, but you don't have to spend the big money on the Evo canned, just about any other good brand would do, Chicken Soup, pedigree, etc...

My dogs only eat food soaked and usually mixed with any number of things. scrambled eggs are popular. Any leftovers, gravies etc.

Agree with all the comments especially about "when they are hungry they will eat" but I understand your anxiety when it's meal-time.

However, try some corn-meal porridge or cooked cornmeal with meat bits. My (late) matriarch had enjoyed the cornmeal porridge for the few times she got it and I wished I had known earlier.
