Harness question

Hola Nanook and other dog experts

I am interestd in purchasing a harness for Clancy but he does have a shoulder issue and we are concerned about the strain on his shoulder when he pulls.

The vet recommended a harness but I forgot what kind she mentioned as we were focused on other things at the time
We are familiar with Lupine collars
May you help please?

dat is a 'No Jump' harness

so when dog decide to jump im just get sheg

whateva happen to just say 'No Jump!' to the dog

Yuh need to watch Dog Whisperer again. He says to poke the dog fast and quick two-finger jab in the head while saying "No." I tried it with Boomer to correct other behavior.

but what happen when is the kids walking Clancy

mi did tell u de time when boyKia walk into a parked car because he was so busy a run down the road wid clancy

Does Boomer now walk like a showdog? It is not so much the pulling but moreso to protect his shoulder

I'm not really a fan of harness for dogs. I always tell people harnesses are for horses! Is there a specific reason why you want to use a harness?

Have you considered the halti gentle leader? I hear rave reviews about them all the time.

What I'm thinking is he will really pull a lot on a harness. I don't trust that they won't slip out of the harness either, just by the nature of the way they fit.

I use a Gentle Leeader for Barney. He pulls much less.
