Dehydrated Raw dog food

I have several samples of this new food and am going to be trying it out on my dogs.

I mixed the Embark with their dinner kibble and will serve it to them later. In coming days I'll try Keen, Thrive, and Force and see which they seem to like best before I buy a 10 lb box. It looks like pretty good stuff though and later I'll come back and report how they liked it.

Hormone-free USDA turkey, organic flaxseed, potatoes, celery, spinach, carrots, coconut, apples, organic kelp, eggs, bananas, cranberries and rosemary.

How did your dogs like the raw food?

When I went to the Doggie Store to buy the Euca-Leuca-Lime shampoo the woman there was extolling the benefits of raw food. Her dogs are old (one is 18 according to her). They look great for elderly dogs too. She said that she feeds them a little raw food every day.

Any thoughts?

The Honest Kitchen food didn't come in yet but I will use it when it does, as an addition to the soaked dry food I feed.

And I've fed the Primal,it's great for old dogs who lose appetite. But raw raw food? I won't do it.

My first thought was no way. The lady in the store was very convincing. But, that is her job. Isn't it?

Raw food is good and I did it a few years back.....when I couldn't get ckn backs anywhere near me I quit. Alot of different ingredients but the dogs loved it and did very well on it...no allergies which all of my dogs have had.

My boy is on the mend. I am afraid to throw a wrench into it.

I wouldn't mess with the improvement either. Since it takes several weeks for a new food to be fully noticeable in the dog, one new thing at a time is a good plan. If that doesn't work, then back to the drawing board for different options. I'm glad he is improving now!!!
