The problem I have with these fences is it keeps your dog in but NOT other dogs from entering your yard.
I know of a dog down the street that goes through the barrier if he sees another dog.....shock or no shock
Yes, what Nancee said. I think they are ok if the dog is supervised at all times though, as things can go wrong. A wire could break or the batteries go dead.
Do you have a spot in the back yard where you could put up some panels for a run for her? The 4 foot high ones are not very expensive and easy as pie to put up yourself. Just a couple of bolt and clamps.
