I am happy to report that there is an obvious improvement in Barney's coat. The bald spots are filling in.
I started mixing the Taste of Wild into his food 15 days ago. So he has been on exclusively Taste of the wild for less than 2 weeks. I guess he's been getting plain yogurt for a little over 2 weeks. What a difference the right food / nutrition can make.
I will bathe him with the Euca-Lueca-Lime today.

I tried the shampoo that Nanook suggested today. I think it is good. He looks good and seems to feel good (very happy and playful after his bath)

My brother in law bought the Natural balance Salmon and Sweet potato (one dog has skin issues one has seizures).He said it actually smells like food and they LOVED the food. They spent a a few minutes licking the bowls. He also got the treats. He said the doggies are in heaven

I am so looking forward to hearing if the new food makes a difference. I loved hearing that Dottie is seizure free for 10 months and I hope the food helps this poor dear! The shampoo too, should make a difference for the skin guy. It will not be an overnight fix but within a couple of weeks he should see improvement!

Barney's skin problems are so much better. The bald patches are gone. He has been eating Taste of the Wild salmon food. I'm still giving him a tblsp of plain yogurt in the morning and a squirt or two of fish oil in the evening. The yeast smell is gone.

I'm using Advantage for fleas. It seems to be working.

I some times use Euca Luca shampoo. Other times I use the Keta Chlor or Alla groom.



My brother in law's doxy mix is also doing much better. They are feeding him Natural Balance Duck &amp; Sweet Potato. They are also using fish (Salmon) oil.

Great news JD! Now Rosebud has been having problems again, from pollen I think. A Spring thing it's like clockwork so I was ready with a new gallon jug. A bath every 3 days or so and I give her benydryl and we're nearly over the hump till it happens again in August!

I hope this is not going to be a regular thing with Barney. But, if it is I'll know what to do.
