I like the shampoo Nanook. He looks great all black & shiny. He smells nice and feels soft. I think he feels good too. He hates a bath / hates water. But, He was very happy and playful after his bath.

Glad you were able to find some. Let the healing begin, I hope!!! I think it is magic stuff.

I am thrilled that I was able to find it. I'm going to carry the bottle to my brother in law today to make him try it on his babies. The doxy mix has had terrible skin issues / allergies. The previous owner had surrendered him to a humane society in bad shape. They have been spending a fortune on him.
I told him about the food too.

When Nanook first recommended it I called my vet and a couple of the chains. The ones I called did not have it. She posted a link for Pet Edge to order it. But, there was a minimum order amount / or a fee for ordering less than a certain amount. If your rescue group orders from them you will be cris.
I found it at the Doggie Store in Ft. Lauderdale. I found the Doggie Store from link Nanook posted for Taste of the Wild food.
If you can not find it I could mail you a bottle.

Re: Euca-Lueca
Well now this is very interesting....
I was looking for the shampoo for Nancee, googling different approaches hoping to find some in her area, or somewhere without outrageous shipping costs. (So far no less than 10.00 shipping).
Anyway, I found a GREAT deal on gallons, with the 10.00 shipping but now we're talking a gallon for 25.00. Total.
The the thing I noticed on the Midwest Grooming site that really struck me was the fact it's being touted as flea shampoo, unless this is a different shampoo.
Midwest grooming
However, I can see that it would have repellent qualities because of the citrus.
I'll ask around tomorrow if this is the same shampoo or different to double check but it looks the same.
I'm lucky to have a friend who will order it for me!
So...if it is the same shampoo and has the added quality of flea repellent all I can say is WOW! (This coming from someone who knows nuttin bout fleas cause I live on the tundra).
Anyway, for a small bottle it is looking like JD's offer to ship a bottle to Nancee is probably the best deal for trying it. But then again, a gallon of the stuff for 25.00 which will last a long long time is a great deal!

Re: Euca-Lueca question
Maybe the other shampoo was drying out his skin, but I don't think you will have that problem with the euca luca. Last summer I bathed Rosie 3 times one week, but never had to do that again as her skin cleared up. Rosie had some kind of contact allergy last summer I think, because her skin had never acted up in summer before or since.
Anyway, I asked the groomers how often I could bathe her, she was itchy after 2 days and they said I could use it again even 2 days later. Now I'm not sure you would do a steady diet of frequent bathing like that, but if the shampoo is making him feel better, and he gets itchy again, I'd wash him again.
Do you have any spray on leave in conditioner (Like the Vo5, people kind is good if you have some and well, it's prolly cheaper than what they sell in the pet store if you have to buy some), spray him down with that too, it will help the dry skin and lessen itchiness. I use it on Rose all winter as the forced hot air heat is very drying and her skin gets itchy.
On the Midwest site I posted the gallon of Euca for 25.00, did anyone notice the Grimenator shampoo? I have heard very good things about it too, for dogs that are just plain dirty. I washed a greasy Cocker in it the other day and he came out squeaky clean feeling!
I would NOT use the Grimenator on a dog with skin problems though!
