I come back in here and see the man looking for the pitbull got angry.

I knew things were headed downhill when he first started to justify the reason for his choice. No matter what type of pet you choose, somebody will always have something to say so unless you can let things roll off your back, it is a bad idea to even get into those type of conversations. You're not obligated to explain the why of your choice.

Good luck to you dreddyjp. I think most people were just trying to help. I know when I suggested maybe looking at a different breed, is because I figure the gene pool, even though there ARE PB's on the island, would be very small, and you wanted quality and unfortunately, the two do not go hand in hand.

exactly. those dogs are few and far down there so if one is looking for pure, that might be difficult.

he actually got excellent advice to seek out local kennels as well as that from nanook.

he chose to focus on the running jokes and get heated instead
