i don't have woody no more. but he has visitation rights. what was supposed to ge "watch woody for a month" turned into a year.

he still gets excited and thows his 120 lb self on top of me when he sees me --- which is every weekend.

i didn't think it was fair for him - caz my job might have me working till 10 or what have you - i get home - i'm tired - he needs attention --- o. imagine the *tragic consequences*

I do not know the background, but this is a sad thing indeed. I know you made the best choice for Woody, but it is hard giving up a pet.

I sent Krystal (my dog from years ago) home to live with my parents because my work schedule and even just living on such a high floor (all the concrete steps) were too much for her at her age. It was hard, but I knew she'd have a better life with them.

At least you have regular visitation though.

It felt just like that though. I had to send her to a place where she had a yard to run free in and not too many steps to get out the house and folks home most of the day.
